Claude

This piece was composed purely using the whole tone scale, with cut up orchestral washes, splashes of piano, and solo flute. I was aiming for a Debussy-esque feel, but I think it's ended up sounding more like an Alfred Hitchcock soundtrack. No bad thing... But perhaps not as relaxing as I'd planned! Still, if you're convinced your next door neighbour is acting strangely, or have noticed ominous flocks of birds gathering in the garden, leave this running, and it should set the mood nicely.

I've also created a less sinister version here using just the piano and solo flute parts.
